My prayers for him and his family.
Just give the word if the association is doing any thing for the family, I'm away but I can at least contribute via PayPal towards it.

agreed
Ive run into another snag..as i keep doing my research ive run into intel that says any thing 3in and over i will need to do work to my drive shaft and other parts..not exactly what i was thinking. It seems if i stick to a 2.5in lift and the added tire height will give me around 3-3.5 in of total lift. should be enough to really look good and get the job done.
So what do you all think about quality lifts? (the names are links to Quadratech)

AEV
or
Teraflex

the new pictures look awesome! that spacer really doesnt make them stick out nearly as much as i thought it would.

i read a TON about them and will be buying a set for sure. 5 tires for $600! heck yea.
the only issue ive ran into is that the retreat process actally makes the tires a half inch-an entire inch taller...nice for ride height but still makes for more questions. will a 285/70/17 that is a 1/2 to 1 inch taller require me to use spacers...im warming to the idea but i REALLY dot want the tires to stick out..so a small spacer could be tolerated if i need to
now the question...do ya think id need one?
-
i actually didnt see the price but my wife said she could get a BMW for that cost! haha
If i had to id rather get a patiot and really dump some money into it..seems more efficent as a small SUV that can do the job. just my 2cents though

ive all but settled on 285/70/17 tire size. now its between re treads or new kumho tires.
Retreads are 5 for $600
https://www.treadwright.com/p-51-285-70r17-warden-a-t-d.aspxand the kumho are 5 for $1,000
http://www.tirerack.com/tires/…ch=false&fromCompare1=yesive been reading more and more about he treadwrites and apparently they end up taller because of the re treading process. if i do the 285/70/17 with out a spacer and with the 3 in lift will the added tore height cause any issues?
thoughts?
