Changed the windshield wipers... it was foggy so the pics didn't come out. Oh and took the 11 year old grandson for a ride... I think he's hooked.
-
Oh trust me, we now KNOW that the only people that made those comments were sheeple that were only parroting what others had said. Even though we've only had it one month, we both love it, AND the wife is already looking for her own! (Well, she did say, I'll take this one and you can build one...) Heheheheheh

Dripping gas....hot engine.... ! Get thee to the stealership!

This is all I got right now. I really need to get some better shots of my jeep. I have a lot more that I want to do to it when I get the cash!
Dalmatians? -
What color and where are you located?
-
And this is why I joined DEJA.

Thanks for the headsup.

From a JF post.
I've been shopping for a rear bumper/tire carrier combo and have stayed away from Warn simply because of the price. This thread caught my attention though because of the price and I too thought something was fishy and that this was way too cheap. So I called up Driveoffroad and spoke with a gentleman, Dave, about it. He confirmed that it was both the bumper and the tire tire carrier. I pushed him a little and asked about the sku (W62949). According to some other websites, that sku is for the bumper only. I asked him if there was a separate sku for the tire carrier or if it was all one sku. He stated that it was only the one sku but both the bumper and carrier (and frame reinforcement brackets). We basically got to the point where he was like, All I can tell you is that its both the bumper and the tire carrier together and if you are unsatisfied in any way you can send it back to us for a full refund. So I went ahead and put it on my credit card and ordered it.
$335 shipped to my door. Yet I am still thinking that something isn't quite right. I will update when it arrives and hopefully not have to dispute anything or worry about returning it.

And I will call them tomorrow and get "The rest of the story"... PEBKAC...had to look that up also! LOL

Ok, I need help, before I put this on the "gottahaveitmybirthdayiscomingupandwereallyneedthis" list....
http://www.driveoffroad.com/warn-w62949/
What am I missing? Q-tec lists similar\same at $829. Looks the same... but.......... -
Simple retail economics.... raise the price till the customers wont pay, then either lower the price slightly or keep the same and bite the bullet for a year. Then the next year everyone forgets!
-
If I won, I'd sell it and buy 2-3 TJ's. Aww, BS, I'd keep it!
-
If you all are up to showing a noobie the ropes, put us down as a maybe for now...
-
A plea to your wife for more Jeep money, eh?
-
You know the bad things, they are loud, bad on gas mileage, hot in summer, cold in winter, impractical.
In otherwords, we don't care what they think anyway!
And we just joined the DEJA on the 26th! -
Well, we took the plunge and bought our first Jeep! We've both been wanting one, and after having everyone tell us all the "bad things" about Jeeps, that just made us want one more!
