Zach does the installation as well. He did mine.
I'd look at just repairing the hood, and getting some vinyl overlays.
Yes you can put the new tires on your old rims.
But first question, what do you want to do with the Jeep? Trail rides? Rock Crawling? Beach jeep? Mall Crawler?
Lots of options.
As far as the money pit.... welcome to the madness!
Changed oil and filters on the 2 jeeps and the RV. Of course right in the middle it starts to rain. I need a building like Shadyluke.

First piece of advice...know your end goal and buy with that in mind.
U will want a rear swing away bumper that will not sag, rattle, or fail with the biggest tire that u will have in the future. If u plan on doing rocks, u will also want one that will give u clearance and hold up under hard impact.
W/o knowing the specs of the bumpers u showed, I can't really comment.
I can recommend bumpers from A to Z fabrication. They make very sturdy stuff and are great to deal with. Many in DEJA have bumpers from them and are very happy.
X2 on A to Z
Welcome to the fun!
According to Edmund long term test of the Ram 1500 diesel, they are averaging 22.7 mpg. Oil change is 11 quarts, filter is $50-60. Another added cost is the DEF. Diesel here in Felton is $2.99-3.09 a gallon. Running the numbers it's still 7 years to "break even".
When I ran the numbers, it will take 7 years to "break even". Increase in purchase price, fuel cost, maintenance cost.
