they suggest the "loosest" hole to start with...
That's usually considered terrible advice.
+1 to waiting on warm weather though, the warmer material is much easier to work with.

Is this for wheels and tires or just the tires?
Sorry.
...I couldn't help it.
If this was the 2door top I'd be all over it. Good luck with a quick sale.
I saw that this morning. Pretty wild story. I would have to go home to, at the very least, change my underwear.
Glad you're okay. Sorry your Jeep wasn't so lucky! Sounds like it was a pretty bad wreck.
This thing is going to be a monster. Can't wait to see it finished.
I don't need it personally, but do you mind if I repost this in my motorcycle forum? If so can you PM me a contact email to add to it?
Xibit would be ashamed.
I live in Dover too, if you need any help just PM me and depending when your able to do it, I may have garage space availible. I have all the tools needed or close by as well.
I appreciate the offer, I shot you a PM.
I want to make sure I have all the needed hardware for this mod, chime in if there is anything else I need. (This doesn't include tools)
Skyjacker 3.5" lift
4 SJ Springs
4 SJ Nitro Shocks
Front and rear extended sway bar links
Front and rear bumb stops
Rear track bar relocation
Rear track bar brace
AEV control arm brackets
Any additional hardware or specialty tools that I'll need? Thanks for all the help so far guys.
Thanks guys. It looks as though I'm going to pull the trigger on this. Stand by for a future "help needed" thread. ;D
I was referring more to is this lift a good fit/quality product for the uses I mentioned in the other thread. For sake of clarity I'll paste them here:
QuoteMy Jeep is my daily driver, but I also plan to do some trail rides, beach trips, and some light mudding. (No deep water areas) I doubt I'll get into climbing as my Jeep is an automatic. Not to mention the cost of steering/suspension components probably increases dramatically for the needs of rock crawling.
JKgray - PM sent.
I am very interested in taking this off your hands. Could a few people who have read my thread in "Lift Spring and shock install around Dover" chime in on this? Thanks guys!
Ahh yes. Sorry I meant to include that in my original post. My Jeep is my daily driver, but I also plan to do some trail rides, beach trips, and some light mudding. (No deep water areas) I doubt I'll get into the climbing thing as my Jeep is an automatic and the cost of steering/suspension components probably increases dramatically for the needs of rock crawling.
clyde, what do you have in mind for your Jeep?
I'm a noob and my knowledge is limited. I know that I don't want/need anything over 4 or 4.5", and I'm looking for affordablity without sacrificing too much on quality. I've been looking at the Skyjacker standard lift kit and the Teraflex standard kit. Both offer between 3.5 - 5" of lift, and both are within my price range. Any wisdom on this topic is welcome because I'm new to all this. Thanks!
Tempting. How well would my stocker handle the beginner trails?
I will certainly become a member! I read the FAQ for it now I'm just waiting for next payday when I'm not budgeted to the hilt already!
+1 on the pics!
I'll take this. I'm in Dover, would you mind shipping it? I can paypal you $20 plus a few bucks for shipping. (I'll Paypal as a gift so you don't get hit with a $2 fee)
PM if that sounds okay...
