I just looked at the Rausch website, i'm running 33's on a 4" lift and have a snorkel, no lockers but they are in the works, solid tow points but no winch. is that sufficient to run with you guys?
oh yeah, i carry a pair of chest waders too just in case.... lol -
hey guys, first timer as far as possibly hitting the trails with you guys this weekend. A couple of probably dumb questions, but here they go.
1 - do any of you have kids and if so do you take them to Rausch Creek with you? I have a 12 year old daughter that loves to go wheelin. we did the Pine Barren Jamboree last fall, she didn't want to leave.
2- do you trailer your rigs to Rausch or drive them?
3- for this coming weekends ride do you just make a day trip out of it or do you stay thru sunday?
I am hoping to change my schedule so that i can hit the trail this weekend, if not i'd be in for sure for any of the weekends in April.

hey chief, i'll keep that in mind for next winter.... ;D

Has anyone spent the money on one or had the opportunity to see one in action.

I drive by there a few times a week...do you have the lifted Xj?No, I have a white lifted TJ, black soft top, hi lift jack mounted to the hood and a snorkel with a "Life is good" spare tire cover. Good to hear there are some "local" guys involved with this club.

thanks for the welcome guys....Wolverine, where abouts in oxford? I'm stones throw away from the scotts soil plant.

holy crap, were the people in that jeep ok?
-
Hello guys, i'm new to this site but not to jeeping. No Jeep clubs here to join so thinking real hard about becoming a paying member and joining your club. Are there any residency restrictions? I also have some questions about the cost involved in attending some of your trail rides. If anyone has any info on this please pm me or shoot me an email to hookedonthebay@zoominternet.net.......Thanks!

hey, check out Pep Boys, they carry a line made by Dakota. I am running the Dakota AT's, 33x12.50x15's on my YJ and love them. They were a bit cheaper than the big name brands. I ran them offroad for the first time at the pine barren jamboree last fall, i did the hardest trails and did just as well if not better than the guys running swampers and other big name mudders. At the time of my purchase they had a buy 3 get the 4th for free. just my two cents....
