I found one! CJ parts in usable condition are becoming harder and harder to find.

In search of a 78-86 Jeep CJ lower heater box for my CJ8 Scrambler. No cracks or broken studs.
-
Cleaned up everything that was "Around, On, Under, and from inside the Scrambler!! You see, several years ago I sold my work van and all of my carpentry stuff ended up in every nook and cranny available. So I purchased an enclosed trailer to get things in order and sort through my stuff.
After 23 years in storage my goal is to get the 8 on the road by the end of the year?

I'm selling my Ocean Kayak Scupper Pro, Just to let you know how long I've owned it, I purchased this kayak from I. Goldberg's on Kirkwood Hwy around "99". This is an original Tim Nemier design not a 2009 thin wall re-make. Kayak is in excellent condition with normal uses wear, kayak has been stored in-doors out of the sun in the off season. Comes with seat, leg straps and oar. $500. I'll work on getting better pics.

Does anyone know who makes this roof rack?
There's a guy in Lewes DE that makes some pretty bad ass roof racks for jeeps. He also does the front grill baskets for the surf fish guys. I'll try to get a number for you. -

Daryl is the man...lol... but how come he never runs out of bolts????
You answered your own question, Because "Daryl Is The Man" -
what about cutting a frame?
Yep, it can be done. "But" It would take someone with experience in frame work to punch the math and a good welder to lock it together. Piece of cake. -
The body is not good, but frame and drive train all working.
I'll leave this alone. -
If you have done flush mount/led tail lights ,
Yes, I have 66 chevy truck tail lights cut in. To cut through all the BS I may have to go back to stock. -
I'm also trying to get my CJ8 done and inspected by the end of the year. What about side markers, do they look for them.

good deal on an optima battery or no???
It's a matter of opinion and how much you want to spend. I went with the Sears Diehard Platinum over the Optima. -

I'm converting my clutch over to a hydraulic setup and I having an issue with the master cylinder push rod lining up with the hole in the pedal. It seems I may have to drill another hole for the push rod? Has anyone worked with this setup.
