Andrew, don't you know it was stocker event 'cause stockers were the only ones without damage

Sorry I couldn't ride with you guys this morning
I'm leaving from Centreville in about an hour, pics & more tomorrow.
I had a blast and loved meeting everybody. Thanks to you "old timers" for taking this FNG under your wings and making it a great experience.
Can't wait to do it again
Patti, you better be there, I don't want to be the only shorty
Seriously, I hope you get feeling better and that we'll see you tomorrow.
I'm heading out in about a half hour. See you all tomorrow.
Rest area is on North side of I-66 (on your right going West) after the Centreville exit #52 and before the Manassas battlefield exit #47. It it immediately after you cross Bull Run Creek.
HTH
Also Rehoboth Beach to Centreville is about 3 hours, depending upon traffic.
I posted it before with exit #'s etc. Give me a couple minutes to do a search and I'll find it.
"Thanks for the help. If any groups or individuals will be stopping at Manassas rest on I-66W between exits 52 and 47 and can give me an approximate time, I'd like to hook up with you there. It's about the halfway point between Delaware and GWNF."
More in a minute
Thanks Keith
Steve, I was just confirming those plans 'cause I have a bad case of CRS and can get things mixed up ...and yes I have your cell #
Is anybody going to be stopping at Manassas rest area on I-66 on Friday? If so what time approx? Also (and I know this was posted somewhere before but I can't find it) could someone please post the CB channels that are used by DeJA?
Thanks for the help and suggestions. When I aired it down it just took some hard pushing to get the lug nuts started. I'll probably put like 30 lbs in it tomorrow, in case something happens on the highway. I'm not sure which club is better AAA or DeJA. I'm leaning towards DeJA. Thanks guys.
Good call Keith!! I had to take it down to 12 psi to even get the lug nuts started. Now let's hope it won't strip the bolts when I air it up
I am having a total Murphy's Law day!!! Can anybody give me a quick fix suggestion about how to get this tire to fit on the bracket? I replaced the 225/75/15 with a 31x10.50 onto the stock 15x7 wheel and now it won't go back on the tailgate bracket because the bolts are too short. The guy that told me he could get parts to adapt it at 8:30 this morning and then said the parts were on the way at 10:30 never called me back and when I talked to him at 2:30, he said "sorry can't help you". I'm leaving for VA tomorrow afternoon and if I have to carry the spare in the back of the TJ, I won't have room for my gear. If anyone knows of a quick fix PLEASE
I went to pick up the tire that I had mounted on the spare wheel and it won't fit on the spare bracket - the bolts aren't long enough. They're supposed to be getting parts to adapt it for "not too much money" To me that means $10-15 bucks - I hope it doesn't mean $100 to them
30% chance of precipitation also means 70% chance of no precipitation - I'll take those odds
Quote from "Patti"Geez, will someone make sure I'm up? I was wondering if I was going to go or not. I thought I was going to be the only stocker there. I'm not am I?
Don't worry Patti, not only am I stock, I'm also a FNG on anything offroad other than sand. I'll go right behind you then if DrJ directs you off the cliff, I'll request a different spotter
Has anybody checked the Farmer's Almanac for weather?
Is there any way to keep a crack in a soft window from expanding? My driver's side cracked down in the corner where the DOT stamp is. It's starting to grow and I wonder if there's a way to stop it from getting any bigger other than duct tape.
I found this website helpful as well. It's for an XJ, but it's a good explanation w/ good pix.
CAN YOU HEAR ME NOW?!
How much would you charge to run interference for me between Rehoboth and the Super G? It would be nice to get there in under an hour without going at 3 am.
I can't make it on Sunday Tony, but thanks for the offer. I still have a bunch of stuff to move out of my Dad's house and to clean the house before the new owners do a walk-through on Wednesday. I really wish I could be there, I might learn something!!
Thanks for the info, Joe.
Keith, thanks for the pic, that helps a lot. If you have time between now and Wednesday to do the washers, let me know. If not, could you bring the washers to GWNF? Thanks
What size torx do I need for the bolts on the front bumper where the tow hooks go? What size for the ones where the mirror movers go?
What size washers do I need for adjusting the steering stops? Can this job be done without lifting the wheels? Will it have any effect on alignment? Thanks
I haven't been at night for a long time. I usually go around 5:30am and stay 'til 11 or so. That way I don't have to fight for a place on the beach. I'd like to try going at night sometime.
