Due to a military move Im selling this 1979 CJ7 I bought to fix another CJ7. I dont have the time to part it out. Has a 258 6 Cylinder motor does not run. 4 speed transmission. $800.00 O.B.O takes it all. Frame is in good condition, and body has some surface rust the floor has some rust needs some patching but I will include all 4 floor pans I bought new for an extra $100. The seats are really nice and all original. Also Hard top and doors are good. Any questions call or text Jose 757-768-6746

Hi and welcome if I were you I would wait for ASTAPE he has worked on my ride, I had to wait a little but it was worth it. He actually worked on the same issue you have on my YJ.

Welcome I'm in the Dover area as well, do you have any pictures of your ride?

I had MTR's on my Jeep just changed to Duratrac to try them and I love how they look and how they run. My MTR's were kind of loud on the road. Duratrac are much quieter.

Got my room a couple of days ago at the Commander. All they had for the Jeep Week special was the ocean view rooms. It was around $730 for up to 6 people. Hope to meet some more DEJA members there.

Hi Jimmy, I agree with the rest of the people here, I had Aaron "Astape" work on my Jeep several weeks ago and he is great. I have not done my gears yet but he would be the guy for the job, he worked on my Jeeps frame. His price is very good/

Hi I just finished my YJ frame restoration, here is a link for some parts
http://www.jeep4x4center.com/j…cessories-wrangler-tj.htm
You can also try this product after the repair of your frame for the inside
http://www.eastwood.com/intern…ating-w-spray-nozzle.html
And like everyone else you can use POR 15 for the outside of your frame. My frame was pretty bad it all depends on how much work or money you want to put into it. I have used all of these products on my YJ and Im very happy with the end result. I can get you the name and number of the DEJA member who worked on mine if you want too.

I really wanted to go but the Air Force mission calls, I leave today wont be back until Monday so I hope I'm around for the next event. Hope you guys have fun!

It is less rough finish, I did it with 2 quarts, and gave it 3 coats. Make sure it is nice and sunny because it takes around 30 min to dry between coats. I like it!
