You guys can come down with us to the beach house (on the Sassafrass) and launch it from the neighborhood ramp (can take it to Annapolis or other places from there).

Thanks! Its an 88 Stingray Maxim 222. Its got a 454 330hp with Bravo drive. Someone repainted it at one point and removed all the Teak and replaced it with Starboard. I keep it at my house and usually launch it at Delaware City. Typically run down to the Chesapeake inn and to the Bohemia. Id like to hit the Sassafrass this year(Lloyds creek or something) but im not real familar with the area.

It's a Teraflex kit. I didn't crawl under there so I don't know how involved it was.

actually, they're asking 20 grand... the JK-8 kit is $5500 from Quadratec. so that leaves $14,500. it has new wheels and tires... so, drop down to $11,500. who knows which lift it has, so lets say $1000 for that. down to $10,500... how much is a Linex job? after that... still need to install and paint the JK-8 conversion. Quadratec says 35 hours including paint time. 3500 there. so, maybe $7000 profit before the haggling starts.

I already told them it is a joke with that on the window. I am sitting here now and hear them on the phone trying to buy a CJ 8 Scrambler emblem to put on it.

I bought 3 jeeps from Newark...A WJ, TJ, and and Liberty. Always got money off sticker and came to know my salesman and the sales manager. When I went to trade in the TJ for a 4 door JK, their new used car manager wanted to hose me on the trade. I brought it to BCP and got what I wanted. Either ask for a different salesperson or deal direclty with the manager.

It seems to work fairly well. Prior to this, the braking did not do the trick with the 39's and this was the last thing before going to hydro-boost. Keep in mind this rig is not street legal, so i could not comment on high speed stops.

I am running a dual diaphram booster (94 YJ) and a Dodge 3500 MC on my 87 YJ with dana 60 front and 14 bolt rear. I am not running a proportioning valve as the stock one did not work well with the set up. The other issue I experienced was the pushrod from the newer yj booser did not work with the brake pedal switch from the 87 pedal.
