Just wondering out loud. Why would you need a gas can on a jeep that rarely sees trails? If you fill it up and let it sit, the ethanol will make it go bad. If you carry it empty until you decide to go on a trail where you "Might" need it then why have it mounted permanently? I also worry about carrying a gas can strapped to the outside of your vehicle. It's like carrying a bomb that you hope never gets hit. If you got Tboned you'd definitely have a fire on your hands and if you mount it on the back the same thing would happen if you got rear ended. Again, it's your jeep, but just wondering. Most guy's that have those are out west running trails that can take days to run. Around here, I can't think of a single reason you'd need it.

I stopped in right about noon and ran into JMan there. Walked right into the store and was able to walk around and check it out. Sales were ok but nothing waiting in line for. The line literally went from the front door, all the way around the store and back to the front just to check out. People were saying an hour and a half to two hours to check out. NO THANK YOU! We went we saw and we left with nothing but a few stupid give away things. Cheapest trip to Cabelas I've ever had! LOL

We do the potatoes exactly as described in the recipe except once there done we pour thousand island dressing over them. MMMMmmmmm! Sooooo Good!

X10 on a Weber. I also grill year round and grill lives outside. In the 20 yrs I've been married, I just bought my second one two seasons ago. You can't go wrong with a Weber.

Looking at getting my daughter her first car and think this would be a great SAFE vehicle for her. If you know of any in good condition for sale, please let me know. I am willing to do it without the Quadra Drive if the price is right but like the fact she doesn't have to know when to put it in 4wd and when not too. My wife had an 04 and it was AWESOME in the snow or any type of weather for that fact.

    Thanks

What happened to it? My wife's been contemplating a Wrangler Unlimited and I told her to stick to the 2012 and newer due to engine problems.

I stuck out way more than that when I had my 10" rims on. NEVER got pulled over for it. I did get pulled over for a speeding ticket once (got a warning) and the cop told me my tires were too wide. I told him I was on my way back from a ride and hadn't put my street tires back on. He told me to stop by the barracks and show him in the next 3 days. Luckily I kept my stock tires for just that reason. I threw on my 28's on a TJ with 4"s of lift and drove over. He laughed and said have a good day. He knew but didn't care. Lol

    You'll be fine!

Do you lose your guages too? There's a multipin connector under the jeep that can become loose and do the same thing but you'll lose your guages or the odometer will read NO BUS on it.

MOST mud tires are quiet when new. My KM2's were real quiet when I got them but as they wear, the will sing you to sleep on the highway! LOL
You have to decide what you want. I ran BFG A/T on a lot of vehicles, and while I tried a few other AT's at times, I always came back to BFG's. Heck I still run them on my truck. If you only see occasional mud, then I'd go BFG AT's. You won't regret them in the snow, sand or dirt.

Having had both the TJ (not unlimited) and a truck and having had two young kids at the time, I'd say stick with the truck or sell your new one and buy an older used one. OR buy a car. I know it's not what you want to hear but the TJ's are horrible for trying to get a kid in a car seat from outside. You end up kneeling on the front seat all the time and I'd imagine with an Unlimited that you would have a harder time due to the seat being a little further back.

    Just my opinion.

X2 Taylor wants one too Jason. I remember Drew too. Nice guy but a little off, but I guess we all are a little! LOL I had just bought some parts off him about a week before this happened.

My wifes old All Wheel Drive WJ was the best vehicle I've ever owned in the snow. With that said, I've driven my Dodge Ram 2500 with BFG All Terrains through 3 ft drifts and never worried about it. Took it out today in my yard with 2ft + snow and never had a problem.
