I have been a trucker for almost 7 yr and i would say 8 out of 10 times its the mic.
All truck stops have every you need. You could go in and buy a mic and try it and
if it still doesn't work well go back in and return it.A lot of people do it -
I'm so ready it feels like i'm all ready there
-
You could stop into a muffler shop if they don't busy.
Sometimes you can find a cool guy to hook it up? -
I hear you dont but I am thinking now you do .You will have to take off
the valve cover and see if the holes for the pushrods can clear the
lifter. The last camshaft job on a IL 6 I did was on a Ford and they have
a side cover. So I think you do have to take off the head. -
Thats cool I understand its just I'm from brookside and them woods are
like my backyard.Even before I was wheeling as a kid I road my bike
back there and its a big part of why I off road at all.Sorry not trying
to upset anyone. -
I have been wheeling in them woods for over 10yrs.and nobody ever said
anything about it being a no no? -
I have complete spare steering linkage with all the boots I think I can spare a
boot if thats all you need. PM me -
I didn't live up here when I had it done but I had mine made. Took about
30min. I went to a place that made hydraulic and air hoses for like
big trucks and dozers. You could get in the phone book. -
You could try the junk yard they have about a million xjs with 4.0s

Quote from "J-Man"
Mine was 7mm allen heads.
yall are probably right his TJ not the same.
But I know mine are I spent all day looking
for a 7mm. It was my luck that all the allen
sets I could find didn't have a 7 in them.
you know what mean (YOU EVER HAVE
ONE OF THEM DAYS?) -
Mine was 7mm allen heads.
-
I have replaced all of mine but 1. And not because i wanted to.
hammer and socket did the job. unless you have a locker in the
frount the driveshaft dont move much. The one axle joint I never did was
the rightside (or should I say has never went out) they say the
longside flexes but short side will snap in a sec.As far as how
strong of a u-joint you use is up to how you wheel.I think I read something
that stated the u-joint was made to be the weakest link.Me I would rather
fix a u-joint then a axle or worst. -
I will be up for it if the weathers good.
and every thing goes well sat. -
WHATS UP WITH THAT
Anyway I think you need weight in the front.
So your front tires keep a good grip and stay on the ground?
ripping the stuff out of the back sounds cool but put in a
4 banger whats up with that. -
Thats sweet . Im going to get a real jeep one day.
I have been trying to finish mine off for years.
But noooo (IT KEEPS GOING) -
I have 3 of them stacted up on mine. I sall a TJ with 5 one time.
