  • Trail run carnage – will my insurance total it?

    Only joking, but after four trips to Paragon, I came home with some light damage. Somehow I managed to take out a bumper end cap. I know this is a rare thing to happen and normally quite expensive to fix, but luckily I have a spare:



    Then, somewhere along the way, something ripped off a vent from my hardtop:



    For this one I don’t have a spare, hopefully they are available from the dealer.


    My next display of brilliance took out a fog light and dented the fender behind it.



    The fender looks much worse cleaned up, but the light hides most of it. Flat fenders would be cool, but would probably look ridiculous with 31’s.


    So, if anyone has a hardtop vent or a factory fog light they want to sell, or can straighten out and paint sheet metal please send me an email or PM. Right now I’m off to see if I can anything on eBay.

  • Trade a tan hard top for a black one?

    Thanks Dave, looks like that is what I am going to do. Any if these are plastic or fiberglass? I thought they were fiberglass but this one sure looks like plastic peices that were glued together. It is pretty light too, I had an aftermarket one on my YJ last year for a while and even without the back glass, it weighed a lot more than this one.

  • Trade a tan hard top for a black one?

    The top on my 2002 TJ is tan (spice?) and I would like a black one. The Jeep didn't come with one but I got a good deal on this one in the spring. Before I go though the trouble of painting it I am asking if anyone with a black top would like to trade. My top is in decent shape, all the glass is good, there are no cracks but there are a few scratches. It is a factory top with tinted windows, defrost, washer and wiper although the dome lamp and defroster do not work. If anyone has a black one in similar condition and would consider a swap, please email me @ BlownDakota@yahoo.com. I am located just outside of Newark, DE.

  • Stocker Trail ride?

    I am very sorry I couldn't make this ride. If you are going before September, I am very interested. Does anyone have a copy of the maps or a link online?
