Ed, on the front diff cover you had some bolts come loose.... Did they all make it home with you?

You beat me by 28 seconds.
The factory spider gears are pretty weak.
Do they make a lunch box locker that accepts alloy shaft with a higher spline count. Make it a min super 35?? -
Ring Gear on left, spiders in the middle.

Is it too late.... I want one...
1 LG. If not thats ok.

Thank for the replies. I think Ill be looking at 33-35" tires. So prob looking at a 4" lift.Well a 2.5" budget boost will clear 35's (dirt chealp if you are on a budget).... silverubi and i did 4 dr X with the terraflex lift and 35" MTZs, and 33's are practically stock on the Rubi's....

There is a hobby shop on base.. said he'll prob do it there. I wasn't specific (nothing unusual), meant can't work on your vehicle in base housing...
Well...not in plain site anyway. I just don't see that fitting into the storage closet (garage).

I believe they are "drum in hat" for the e-brake. Probably wouldn't hurt to pull the wheels and calipers and slide the rotors off. Its the only way to get them clean.

Some of the bonus gates really required a lot of ground clearance
I think you proved otherwise. I'm just sayin....

First off, thanks I'd like to thank Billy, Ed and Aaron for letting us (Colin, Ben and myself) right seat and showing us a good time.
Great turn out. 20+ Jeeps. Can't wait for for the next one.
The truck puked more ATF on the way home and now gives both sides of the truck that "wet look"
I will bring a spare bottle of atf with me to the spring fling. I can't even remember now how gave it to me. ??? ???

Awe man, thats cruise weekend. Oh well, the fun doesn't start till the sun set anyways ;D

Well it's an automatic so...
Automatics have a second gear and can chirp it if they have a tight tranny and decent power ( or crappy tires). I know, I've done in in more than one can/truck.
-
Kinda lame, not even a second gear chirp or anything. Its like its got stock gearing or something.
As K.C. would say, "Weak Sauce"
-
Don't forget you will need a decent air compressor if you are using it for a length of time.
-
???
Maybe you guys should just a buy 3/4 or 1 ton (or both) for tow rigs.
Just a thought......

A buddy of mine who tows his enclosed trailer for 2 JR dragster (and gears) uses firestone airbags in their 1500 'Burb. The own an auto parts store so I'm sure if there was a better solution they would use it instead.
-
You know who has a lifted jeep (and how much lift) just by the muddy line on their pants.
-
"Well, here it is. A real "head turner" that people just stare at, or walk around it, looking, with a "Wow" expression on their faces."
The expression on their face is WTF, not "WOW"
Come on a step mounted to another step.

i have the RE 4.5" extreme duty kit on my YJ and like itwithout getting too nuts which is a better choice.. that or a ford 8.8 to swap into a YJ?
the xj/mj 44 or a ford 8.8???
8.8's are a dime a dozen compared to the XJ 44. And the XJ 44 are a dime a half dozen compared to the MJ 44.
Still I would rather have a 44 instead of a 8.8.
