Jeeps For Joy has a team running/walking in the Ronald McDonald House of Delaware's annual 5k Run For The House.
The race is Saturday April 18th at 9 AM in Wilmington. Please consider running with us and/or donating towards our fundraising goal. All of the details for signing up or donating can be found here.

We are pleased to announce that our brand new website is up and running! You can now stay up to date with events & volunteer opportunities, shop for merchandise, learn more about our organization, and even donate to Jeeps For Joy all in one snappy new place on the web.

    Check us out at JeepsForJoy.org

We are still collecting donations for our Christmas Adopt-A-Family. We will be providing dinner and presents to local needy families. Please send gifts via PayPal to donations@jeepsforjoy.org and note that they are for Christmas Adopt-A-Family! Any size gift is useful and appreciated. Also, we are looking for volunteers to come get together and wrap some presents. E-mail info@jeepsforjoy.org if you are interested in this.

Huge thanks to everyone who came out to hang out with us in the rain! We raised more money than we ever have before, and we brought about 3x the amount of Wish List items as we normally do to Ronald McDonald House! And all of that despite rain that was quite drenching at some points.

Oh....and we also got TV overage on NBC 10 Philly... Video is here. How awesome is that?

Two winners were randomly chosen and emailed today! Thanks to everyone who participated and as always, please keep helping us spread the word.

We are getting pretty excited for this event!

Raffle items keep coming in. New t-shirt, hoodie, and sticker designs will be unveiled at the event. We have the food, music, kids crafts & face paint. You just need to bring yourself and some wish list donations for Ronald McDonald House!

We can't wait to see you guys this year!

For everyone planning to attend. A few notes for visiting RMH:

[li]Please do NOT attend if you are sick (i.e. no contagious illnesses).[/li]
[li]Please park in the lot across the street, so that families staying at the house can park in the main lot. It's only like a 50 yard walk from the lot to the front door.[/li]
[li]Food and drink are permitted, but we are responsible for cleaning up the room afterwards. So don't make a mess.[/li]
[li]Check in with the front desk and they should be able to get you signed in and point you in the right direction for the conference room.[/li]

Jeeps For Joy is in need of 6-10 volunteers for our upcoming Dec 6th event. Tasks at this point will probably be directing traffic as needed, selling raffle tickets, kid's craft table duty, and other duties as assigned.

What: A meeting to discuss what volunteer help is needed, how you fit in, and finalizing details
Where: Most likely RMH conference room (waiting on confirmation), but if that isn't free then probably somewhere else in northern NCC TBD later.
When: Wednesday Nov. 19th at 6:30-8. Please be prompt because we will be breezing through topics and ending on time!

Post up here if you are coming. We will also make every attempt to have video and/or teleconferencing available for anyone that can't make it (please post up here if you need this).

As always, you do NOT have to be a DEJA member or even a Jeep owner to volunteer and help out. So bring along any family/friends/unsuspecting bystanders that you can!

We do not yet have a scheduled meeting for event volunteers, but our hope is to have a meeting in the next two weeks. Our goal is to have this event held at Ronald McDonald House in one of their conference rooms and to have video/teleconferencing available for those unable to attend in person.

Some of you may have seen this on our Facebook page this week. But we also wanted to make an announcement here.

We are very pleased to announce an addition to the Jeeps For Joy team. Mark Rutt will be joining us as Creative Director. Some of you may know Mark, as he has been around at JfJ events for some time. Mark has been integral in our development over the last few years including designing us our new logo as well as printing our t-shirts for the last several years.

Jeeps For Joy has a lot of big things in the works, and having Mark on board will be critical in taking some of the next steps to grow our organization.
