Leaning towards 33s with the budget boost and a 1" body lift. Would I need anything else?

Mild wheeling would be a good description. Not looking at extreme rock crawling or anything. Would 32s offer a significant performance gain off road over 31s?

Looking at getting new tires in the next week or so. Currently running 31s on a pretty much stock 4 cylinder tj. Looking to do some trail rides this year in addition to beach trips and normal driving. I'll probably do at least a spacer lit whatever size I choose. And planning on ordering new wheels as well.
Is there a good reason to move up to 32 or 33s? Or would that be just too much for the engine to turn without too much benefit.
