I have purchased a banks knock off and will put it in this spring.I have ordered some header wrap to help with the heat issues. paid $140 for it and it has the same specs as the banks just not the price.

update
I found that the valve cover gasket was bad, so new one on.
The pcv was bad, new one on.
tightened all down to specs... new hose for pcv.Same problem came back...... I have little hair to pull out....

HVAC works great, not issues with any part of it. I will try the vacuum gauge and see where I am.

cleaned throttle body and IAC. checked spark plugs and re gaped them. I wounder if the coil pack if bad or weak?

the idle is wavering and almost stalls. I can not find a vacuum leak but i might have missed something. I just want it to run like it did.

My friend was in a accident the other day and totaled his 99 wrangler. He is actively looking for a replacement.

now I am told it may be my a vacuum leak or my IAC stuck? Really what the hell is going on. I thought I was done with this when I bought a jeep.

that was short lived.... no engine light or code but ruff idle and ruff start offs while driving after it warms up.

Update .... Running much better now and have good idle RPMs. I adjusted the synchronizer left and right. I will still get a new coil pack and injectors over time.

I took it all out and re did it all. TDC and the oil pump slit. it is still spiting, I am at a loss.
