Just did a 3" lift on the 96 xj. Does anyone have a set of 31x10.5x15 mounted on 5x4.5 lug wheels I can use for a test fit?
I know of a couple of guys on Albe Drive that my tackle such a task. Not sure what they'd charge but worth a shot.
Blackwater falls state park in WV very nice hiking trails
Has anyone done this method to rid themselves of the slip yoke?
An in home co detector is like 40$ or less and runs on a 9v battery...buy one and chuck it under the passenger seat!
Pics?
No I didn't lol
Recently replaced exhaust from header back on my xj. Used a Magnaflow stainless cat, and Borla stainless cat back system. Also had my windshield replaced...it's nice to be able to see again. Yesterday I added a receiver cargo basket, I needed someplace to haul a deer should I harvest one this season.
For what, they're over priced and you can't do a dang thing in them unless you play disc golf.
Curious as to what lift and tire size you have there on that xj.
Changed rear axle bearings to quiet a driveline noise...still have the noise
Replaced from pads and rotors, and purchased parts to change rear axle bearings.
Kuntry, how cheap of a car are you looking for?
I work for P boys, there isnt much they can do : /
It is all stock
It sounds like its coming from the rear, but not sure if it could be translating from the transfer case. It is a chrysler 8.25 rear and a np 231. The sound appears around 20-25 mph and up and sounds like a low hum.
Just bought this XJ, it seems to have a drive line noise but I cant seem to figure out where from. I dont feel any play in the rear where the sound is coming from. Any ideas?
Kuntryboy, I know you, your wife is my sons teacher. Lol
