I spoke too soon, the CEL is back!
kind of lost as to what it could be at this point. anyone know of trustworthy mechanics in the newark area that specialize in jeeps?

so far so good. took it down 95 so i could get a good run at 70mph and back, no CEL so far.
next issue is sticking turn signals.
Nah they were all the same.
Brand name is Denso.
Changed all the spark plugs to NGK V-power. The plugs in there seemed newish, but weren't that brand which i read is the best for an XJ.
Took the neg terminal off to reset the CEL and got my fingers crossed.
Thanks so much. I'll check the plugs tomorrow. Joe, that would be really awesome. I live in chestnut hill estates. Pretty close to UofD.
I also have an electrical issue. Not sure if that has anything to do with this. Basically my turn signals will work fine for a bit, then just stay on. Both sides. Hazards too.
Well, I thought it worked. CEL light back on and running a tad rough again. Any ideas? Would I have to replace the injector again after installing a new ignition coil?
totally worked.
running all six now. thing is a beast.
Sorry if this has already been covered...
I have a 2000 cherokee, 6 cyl.
check engine light is on.
took it to auto zone to get a read, said 'misfire in cylinder one'
Injector already replaced, took it to a shop and said i needed a new ignition coil.
Bought one myself, installed it, seems to be running much better but the CEL still on.
Disconnected the neg terminal to try and reset it.
Not sure if i'm missing something...?
any suggestions/help is greatly appreciated.
