Driving up the road today I saw a 2000 xj at Checkered flag auto by the 295 exit off of 13 Just wondering if anyone here has stopped in and looked at it I won't get a chance til Saturday. Called them it is 4.0 auto with 145,000 on it for $4500. Anything specific I should be on the lookout for when I stop in? TIA for any shared wisdom.

Roadside repair last night. Was headed over the Del Memorial to NJ and the Jeep stalled due to a loose connection on the ignition coil harness. I was just in front of the Rt 9 overpass at the onramp. Traffic blowing down both sides of me at 60+ mph.... At least I hadn't made it ONTO the bridge yet.
BTW- Thanks to the fellow Jeepr's who just drove on by while I was broke down on 295!! I'm sure that while you were coming down the 1/4 mile onramp you couldn't see me standing in front of the Jeep with the hood up and emergency flashers on... no doubt due to the camo paint job! Oh that's right, one of you shot me a Jeep wave as you passed! :upset:
I'm thinking that AAA is going to cancel my membership after last night. I called for service, tow truck came but I had gotten the Jeep started so he took off... 10 mins later I'm broke down again at the corner store on Rt 9 next to McD's... great neighborhood..especially at 8:30pm and it getting dark!! Called AAA again, tow truck came but once again I had gotten it started before he got there. This time, with Josh's help, we figured out the cause. Tow truck driver helped me fix the connector and got me out of there before I was solicited by a prostitute (yes! there were a few in the immediate area) or robbed.Sorry brother a lot of us would have stopped. I've seen you driving on 13 in new castle, so wave next time a prison van honks at you

Definitely cracked plastic, new one on the way. Next question,HOAT coolant is there a specific brand to use or do you just make sure the brand is HOAT specific? Looked online and searched jeepforum now I have an information overload headache.
Thanks again
