I've started a separate thread for this, since it would probably get lost in the other one. Please only reply to this thread if you have questions about the fees.
Bruce from Rausch Creek and I just spoke, and here's the scoop.
If you're doing the BMJA Oink related activities (which starts with dinner on Saturday, followed by the night ride, camping, and a trailride on Sunday), the fees are as follows.
Driver: if you're not already a Rausch Creek member, you must purchase a Rausch Creek membership for $10, which is good for one year from the date you buy it. Then, you pay the daily rate to use the park, which is $25. The nice folks at Rausch Creek have agreed to waive fees for Saturday evening, so you'll just pay the daily rate for the Sunday trail ride.
Passengers over the age of 16: if you're not already a Rausch Creek member, you must purchase a Rausch Creek membership for $10, which is good for one year from the date you buy it. The normal daily rate for passengers is $5, but that $5 is waived if you're buying your membership that day.
Passengers 16 and under are free.
PLEASE NOTE that everyone (all ages) must sign the Rausch Creek waivers upon getting there (for most of us, this is Saturday late afternoon). You can pay your fees for the Sunday trailride at that time if you wish, which will probably save you time Sunday morning.
Primitive camping is included in the daily usage fees.
The BMJA has collected $10/person from all Oink participants to cover the food costs only - you are responsible for all Rausch Creek fees once you get there.
Thanks everyone, and let's have our best Oink ever!
- Jerry
For us DeJA folks riding on Saturday also, add $25 for the park fees for Saturday's day ride.
