85 CJ7, standard non-tilt column.
I am having a problem with my ignition not turning off when I turn my key to the "off" position it stays in "run". I took it apart and it appears the switch is working properly but the rod is too long. I tried moving the switch back but ran out of adjustment. Is there a way to adjust the rod? If it was a between a quarter and half inch shorter life would be good 
The ignition switch is relatively new and no modifications to this area have been done. It wasn't a problem last fall when I put it up...
