XJ Budget Boost install

  • the spacers are easy... unbolt the lower control arms and the axle will drop down so you can pull the springs to put in the spacers.


    the shackles will be a bit of a pain, though... getting the old bolts out will be the problem. spray the bolts with PB Blaster each day for a week before you do the work. even then, you may need to cut the bolts out of the shackle and you may have to get new bushings and new bolts.

  • PB PB PB and if they stil seem tight.. a torch.. propane sometimes works.. mapp works better oxyacetaline works best
    you could replace the bolts with similarly sized grade 8 bolts
