Is the lower the number the further the tires stick out? For example, 3.65 back spacing will allow me to fit a wider tire under the jeep than say 4.5. Is that right?

happen to know if I can fit 33x14.50's on a 15x10 with 3.65 backspacing under a tj with no body lift? (I do have a 2.5" OME lift and bushwacker flares) I have 33x12.50's on there now with no problems.

i dont see why not you should have plenty of room in there still

you are going to have to move your steering stops.
and it will be close to hitting those flares at full stuff

With a Rubi, 2" BB, 1.25" BL, 3.75 BS on 15x8 wheels, and 33x13.50r15 claws, i JUST clear my stock flares (tires actually rub the inside) at full flex. You will *probably* be ok as-is.
