building up my 03 wrangler

  • Welcome to the world of Jeeps.

Something else to consider is to get 33 x 10.50's instead of 12.50's. They'll fit on your stock rims, you won't need spacers, stuff under the flares easier, are cheaper to buy, and in many instances perform better than 12.50's. That all aside, the narrower tire makes it look taller.

This is with 33 x 10.50 BFG M/T's with a used OME lift that netted 2 1/4 inches:

    It even cleans up nice:

I don't want to sound like an old man here, but I didn't see anyone else mention this. The bigger and heavy the tires, the worse your braking becomes. Being that you're young and haven't been driving all that long, increasing your stopping distance might not be the best idea.

Good luck and keep us posted.

  • thanks for all the info like i said this is probably not going to happen in the very near future. hopefully before i drive so, theres more time to research and decide.
