DOR Racing Partners with Operation Homefront

    [size=3]DOR Racing out of Salisbury, MD is extremely proud to announce their new partnership with Operation Homefront. For the entire 2012 season, DOR Racing will be racing to help those military members and their family who risked or gave everything for our freedom.[/size]

    [size=3]Operation Homefront provides emergency financial and other assistance to the families of our service members and wounded warriors. A national nonprofit, Operation Homefront leads more than 4,500 volunteers across 24 chapters and has met more than 400,000 needs since 2002. A four-star rated charity by watchdog Charity Navigator, and with an A rating by the American Philanthropy Institute, 94 percent of all donations to Operation Homefront goes to its programs.     [size=3]Throughout the season the DOR team will be attending numerous races, competitions, as well as other shows and events to help raise awareness and funds for Operation Homefront. The team has set a goal to raise $10,000 by October. There will be a paypal account setup for everyone to donate that may not have time to make it out for events. Every bit helps so DOR Racing encourages everyone to help support these military members and their families. All donations made to DOR Racing go directly to Operation Homefront. All race purses and winnings awarded to DOR Racing will also be donated to Operation Homefront.[/size]

    [size=3]DOR Racing will also be working to organize a benefit trail ride in the fall of 2012. The trail ride will again help to raise awareness and funds but also host some of our military members that have recently returned home. More information on the ride will come as details are worked out.[/size]
