For anyone curious dry ice is definitely the way to go for stuff like this (lemme channel Ed for a sec: "It's the cat's ass"). Really nice not having to deal with soggy food, not constantly re-icing, and still having stuff that's frozen Sun am. Just remember to keep the cooler shut/sealed as it pressurizes some as it off-gasses and pack carefully as it will QUICKLY freeze anything touching/close. I like to put it on the bottom of my 5-day cooler w/ frozen stuff on top and then the 'just-keep-it-cold' crap as a 3rd layer. Highly recommended.

It also makes for good fun at the campsite to wake up late sleepers with a little water in a sealed plastic bottle not to mention a cool smoke effect in the Janx cooler...
