fished Cape henlopen 9/28

hey guys just a REAL time report on the surf fishing at Point Beach. It was overcast with breaks of sun all day long, no rain. Seas were probably about 2-3' water temp was 71. THe best part NO CROWDS ! maybe 20 vehicles spread down the beach. Fished all of the out going and all of the next incoming. went through 4 dozen finger mullet in a matter of three hours or so and that was catching up to three blues per mullet as they were readily taking just heads. a couple of the Blues went 18". we started keeping blues and chunked them up for bait, the blues hit that faster than the finger mullet we fished hard with clam, fish bites and squid on panfish rigs only to catch one king. No spot or croaker. just before dusk i managed to land a sharpnose shark that went 37" and was released in perfect condition.

Anybody going down sat the 29th (today)? I'm thinking of heading back down
