I am trying to figure out how to replace the sway bar bushings on a CJ. Since there are no cuts or slits and I don't think they will slide on at the sway bar link connection (although I haven't tried), I am at a temporary loss. I am scanning the internet but, any help?

Take the whole thing off, clean it real good with steel wool. Soap it up, and the new bushings will slide over the end. You might have to bang out the link stud.

DUH!!!!!
pulled on the new bushings and I found the slit (some how this sounds offensive).
