Yesterday the giant crack hit the other side of the windshield, and I decided it was time... I also lowered my deductible at my insurance company to $0...but couldn't replace the current one.
I was amazed at the prices...
$225 for Safelite (and they also wanted to do some windshield wiper things.... I said, not thats quite fine.....they would match my other quotes, then called them back and said they couldn't do $150.)
$165-175 for Union Auto Glass
$150 MOT Auto glass...
Everyone gurantees there work, and the MOT guy is local, and it includes Moldings. I aksed him why he was lower...he expalined he's a small company, does the work himself with a few other guys....
So we will see how it goes, scheduled to be here at 11AM.
Oh...and BTW for those that think my 2006 sticker is goin on ..... its not. It was destroyed in my glove box...by my father who decided to borrow my loc-tite from my glove box..and then left it open a bit when he put it in and it leaked all over my membership sticker.
