Gino and I both had more kids this year so time hasn't been on our side. Progress has started to pick back up. The axles are built and the suspension set. I built the steering links today and will work on brakes tomorrow. Might even throw the tires on it to see how it sits. Hopefully it's as low and possible. I think we will have a master cylinder and brake calipers to install tomorrow too. Plus I'd like to mount the power steering pump so those lines can be built.

Why didn't you just buy a JK. Throw a light bar at it and head to the mall. Isn't that how building jeeps works now?
Keep up the good work. I'm finally finding time to get back to working on my brother in laws jeep.
Older Warn winch plate for a TJ/YJ. SOLD
A floor jack and a couple wrenches is all it takes for a 2 inch budget boost on a JK. They are pretty straight forward to install in 2-3 hours. The worst part is always adjusting the drag link to get the steering wheel back to center so it doesn't throw a stability control code.
That's a clean looking YJ Tub.
Pm sent about top box.

For a YJ or an XJ. Brand new but I don't have the shock mounts. $50
How big of a tire are you running? Over 10 inches is really wide. I'm running a 16.5 wide tire on a HMMWV wheel which is only 9 inches wide.

FC's are cool. My uncle had a few of them with snow plows on them up in NY.
Pulled out the transmission and transfer case to get at the burnt-out throwout bearing. The hard part is putting it back in.
New clutch while your at it?

I ditched a Dana 35 in favor of an 8.8 once upon a time too.

Yes. PM'ed you.
I have a Dana 30 carrier with 4.10 gears. Guy ran the jeep off the road and tweaked the axle tube. I replaced the whole axle and saved the gears. Was a 2004 wrangler. PM'ed you about them.

Bend some brake line. It's just a vent line. They don't even have clamps on the hose.
