    I feel your pain...
Is someone looking at it with you or are you just pushing/pulling on stuff. It took Ed getting a good look at my lower track bar bracket while I turned the wheel to tell it was loose. It was torqued and felt tight but it wasn't. Obviously yours are not wobbled, but somebody might be able to pick out some movent elsewhere.

Well I'm a bit ashamed to say I think it has more to do with my dog's past. She was seized for cruelty and neglect from two guys who used her to practice tattooing...when her fur is off just after a bath you can see small tats. The most visible of them is on her nether region with a blue line tattooed. Anyhow, now she acts like this with all my friends that happen to share the same ethnic make up of her previous owners. Once she gets the understanding that they aren't a threat she's sweet as hell. But this kid, who also shared that ethnic background clearly did not win her favors. Yes, my dog is a racist haha. It embarrasses the hell out of us because we have to explain all the time at the dog park that we didn't train her like this, she's just....damaged. Anyhow, it worked out for once for another purpose than embarrassing the hell out of me.

Sounds like my dog... she was a rescue dog from Philly. She started off a bit racist, then it turned to girls, guys, people in uniform (ask Quadna) now she hates just about everyone unless she knows you. Super dog but if she's leashed up in my Jeep, my advise, don't pet her!

I just went through this. 90% is usually the track bar connections at either end are loose. Doesn't mean other issues aren't causing this, but start there. Even if something looks tight have someone turn the wheel while someone else checks all connections like stated above. (while jeep ISN'T moving obviously)

After serious death wobble issues I couldn't just peddle through or brake hard enough anymore, we're talking light to light pulling over as she was about to break apart death wobble. I figured it was time to take care of some serious lack of maintenance issues. After running 37's for the last 4 years it was inevitable.

Replaced the Currie HD Tie rod ends. (Both ends were trashed.)
Installed a new Currie HD drag link and drag link end. (Both were also trashed.)
Installed new steering dampner. (Bushings were shot on the old unit.)
Replaced the upper and lower ball joints - (The uppers were good the lowers were trashed.)
Replaced the unit bearings - (Both were still in good shape.)
Replaced the front upper control arms - (Slightly tweaked stockers replaced with RE's)
Replaced the old goferit Tie rod flip unit with a new one. (Old one wobbled out and TRE just dropped in)
Had the front tires re-balanced. (Had a few weights missing)
Drilled and added a beefier bolt and bushing to the lower end of the track bar. (Probably 90% of the death wobble issue) Thanks Ed!

A quick driveway alignment and now she drives like the day she was new. What a difference. Oh and the Harbor Freight ball joint press is junk, but I'm very pleased with the 95 day warranty. The first one only lasted for half of the install on the passenger side. I took it back and they gave me my money back. Bought another one and it worked great and didn't deform the C at all.

Replaced my goferit yesterday. Mine was all ovaled out and the TRE just dropped in. Ed welded the new one in and it's mucho better.

Tell ya what, if you wheel, buy it. If you don't, buy it and buy a can of rustoleum. It doesn't look bent to me, so after it's painted no one would know. And if you wheel, you'll bend it (maybe scratch it, they are tough) the first, maybe second, time you are out. No one would know except for you and your pocket. I think that thing sells for $250 plus some outrageous shipping amount ...

X2... half the price and it's an engine skid, not a hood ornament. Throw some paint on it and be happy you'll never put a rock through your oil pan.

I don't get it... his whole for sale thread is spent justifying how much these things run then he tacks on $250 to the already stated highest price. Then goes on to explain how on a scale of 1 - 10 his is 9 if not 9.5... then has to say "10 being the best" really!! 10 is the best on a scale of 1-10????

    Billy,

Todd is looking for something big with a ripper on it so he can get down to paydirt. Dave is going to be running it mostly and wants to know if it can handle the frozen Klondike. Also Todd's dad Jack is always interested in Excavator's, the bigger the better. LMK.

    Fred

Sounds like you had a great couple of days of fishing. Us, not so much... we drifted the inlet Monday on the incoming tide with live eels and were skunked. Tuesday we were went for the duck and saw a few but nothing close enough to shoot so we called it a day without even getting a shot off. Tuesday afternoon we fished from the rocks in the Inlet South side and were skunked on the incoming tossing buck tails and eels. Monday morning skunked again fishing the outgoing tide south side rocks. So I had no luck, can't catch a fish, but will probably be back down there very soon, because like they say, a bad day fishing beats a good day at work.

The doors I was offering up are just the lowers. Just got hooked up with a spice top for summer so I'll pass, unless you want the half doors. thanks.
