Missed out on getting a reservation.

Sholdn't there be a rule against families with a ton of kids stacking the deck?

Yes it can be an expensive hobby. Sometimes you can get lucky and find a parts vehicle to grab things from. I used to always keep a loose eye on the junk yards and sales ads.

Congratulations on the purchase and welcome to our little world.

Nothing super special about Jeeps that any good mechanic could give it the once over for you. Do a compression check to see if there might be any underlying issues with the motor, change fluids and filters, ....

Always fascinating to watch a good machinist at work. This guy has a few videos or fixing older blocks from Willy's Jeeps, saving them from the scrap pile. Here is is stitching up cracks.

Sounds like a fun trip. Are you towing your Jeep out or driving?

Glad to have you. Hopefully see you around town. I'm also from New Castle

Since the clicking noise seems to associate with load put on the drive train...I'd say take a look at the drive shaft joints, trans mount bushings, axle control arm bushings, and anything associated with drive train alignment.

Sure is pretty up there. Great trip. Thanks for sharing

Welcome. You're from Stanton? I drive through there to and from work daily. I'm over by the New Castle airport

Years ago a member, Blue Jay, had a tuffy security box in the back of his TJ. I can attest how well built Tuffy's are because he had locked something in it (the key?) and had to break it open. I seem to remember using a pry bar. Can't remember whether or not we got into it.

Those will fit in the back of your Jeep?
