    Yes it is off.

Wilmington's St. Patrick's Day Parade planned for Saturday has been canceled because of expected rain, Irish Culture Club of Delaware officials announced today.

Friday's annual Painting of the Green Stripe still is planned for noon at 11th and King streets, however. Saturday's Hooley (Party) from noon to 2:30 p.m. at St. Patrick’s Church also still will go on.

If anyone wants to go to the Hooley party just let them know who you were going to march with.

We have truckers come into the yard with amped CB's. They step on the loader trying to talk to the scalehouse, other trucks trying to talk to the loader or scalehouse, the CB comes across the phone lines, generally a royal pain in the ass.

    ?

In 1975 I saw a man get decapitated from a winch wire just south of the Taco Bridge in NJ. A Ford pickup was winching a Bronco out of the mud and up the berm. A dirt biker cut between the truck and the Bronco hitting the wire. The Bronco was spinning his wheels when the truck was winching When he hit the wire the Bronco lunged forward and then slid back tightening the wire real fast. The wire had came loose it went around the persons head and under his arm pit when it snapped tight it cut through him. And I have seen a person killed with synthetic line on a tugboat not cut in half just killed from the force of the line hitting him. The bottom line be careful.

I like the reporter saying that the Jeep was in pared. 3 flats, 4X4 through the windshield and still going. That is a easy trail ride for us. I am glad that no kids were playing in the back yard of the houses and apartments it could have been bad.

I was thinking we could meet at King and Water street. That is behind the train station.
We will be on CB channel 4 call for Tugboat or Delaware Jeep. Or call my cell 302-354-4130 We will set up who will lead and the order at that time. The Lead Jeep will have the Delaware Jeep Sign on the front of the Jeep.

We can stage and leave from there. We will start meeting at around 09:30. We will leave to the Staging area at 11:20 to be at 4th and King by 11:30. That is only a 4 block drive so we can drive slow.

The Parade ends at 14th and King. there is some refreshment in the basement of the St. Pat's Church there. going back to 4th and King is easy make a left on 15th at the end on the parade and a left on Market St.

    Hope to see everyone there.
If you have a friend that has a jeep bring them along show them what the Delaware Jeep Association is all about.

For bad weather listen to WDEL 1450 AM or call me.

One of the fallen. RIP Harry-D
I will look around for one by the next meeting he will look different and will have a new name.
So someone will get a surprise in their Jeep after the meeting.

For the members that do not know or forgot who Harry-D is. Harry-D is a stuffed monkey that a member had to place in another members jeep without their knowledge. Then that member would post what thy did with Harry-D and then pass it on. It started out when someone placed him in my Jeep one night I never found out who it was. I then posted and passed him around there were pictures of him all over even sky diving. Well we lost track of Harry-D and I think because he was forgotten he took a bad turn look at this.
