Their times for broadcast and turkey collections are 6:00am-7:00pm through tomorrow evening. I heard them announce a daycare on the radio the other day for their contribution of 10 turkeys. Maybe DeJA could get some air time.

I had 33's, 3.73's, auto, and almost could not stand driving on highways. The 4-banger may be part of the problem, but my Jeep was pretty frustrating to drive (especially on the mountains of PA.)

After installing 4.56 gears, I noticed a HUGE difference and my Jeep can pick up speed even while driving up hills. I'm running 35" tires with the 4.56 which is almost the equivalent of running 33" tires with 4.10's.

3.73's will work...but after regearing, I would never go back to the higher gears.

but could you perhaps kindly remind them that they are supposed to have a tag instead of just calling the cops..

Just telling them or any "small smack on the wrist" isn't going to stop anyone from doing illegal things. You really have to attack them where it hurts (aka, their bank account via tickets) to make an impact. I agree with tedsbumper on this one. I'm all for helping others out, but illegal activity is illegal activity. There's no way around that.

    Mine have worked very well.

    Pros:
    Lighter to carry around
Can throw in the back without worrying about paint. (Great for trailriding)
The extra room inside the Jeep is great!
Look pretty cool (It IS all about the looks)
Cheaper than buying half doors (although I love those too)

    Cons:
    Louder
Mine leak a little in rain (might be an adjustment issue)
No strap, so on a windy day they will fling open and smack your Jeep
    Pricey

For me, the Pros outweight the Cons, and I absolutely love mine! They're great to carry in the back of the Jeep incase of that freak unforcasted rainstorm.

Ya know, looks like I'll be the first one to go against the grain with my response.

When I first started modifying my Jeep, I didn't want to go crazy with it, so lifting it a little each time worked well for me. I started with a 2" BB and 31" tires which I loved. When I wanted to go larger, I just added 2" springs for a total of 4 inches of lift, and 33's. They all served me very well.

I eventually moved up to RE's 3.5 lift, but there's no WAY I would have wanted to just jump up to it without slowly stepping up each level first off. I wheeled my Jeep at each level and learned the ins and outs of my Jeep before proceeding onto the next lift. In my opinion, EVERYONE should wheel their Jeep first stock, than slowly moving their way up the ladder. Jumping up too fast may inhibit your ability to understand how to use your lift/tires.

Many said that they saved money just jumping up to a larger lift, but as long as you take care of your parts, you'll be more than likely able to sell your used parts to someone else and regain some of your initial expense back to use towards the next step.

But that's just my opinion....take it for what it's worth...
