if u get the wrong inspector they might check the e-brake. Its rare but it has happened. When they tell u to put it in "park"....just say it is and dont mention that its a stick.

the vin shouldnt be an issue if u go through the regular lane. As long as they can see it at the base if the windshield they wont look any further.
Make sure the horn, wipers and lights (license plate light too) work. U will need red side markers in rear and yellow in front with reflectors greater the 3 sq-in.
Mud flaps r a good idea now too. They forced me to put them on after 15 years if not needing them. I zip tied welcolm mats to the bumper.
They will sniff the tail pipe so u might need it tuned?
For an antique tag it needs to be near stock looking. If u get it through once its tge inly time u have to go to the dmv but there r driving reatructions.

Get it together already u slack as$

it sounds like the xj may have had the security feature on it. There r companies that can remove the electronic interlock. Any obd1 4.0l ecu will work for any obd1 jeep. Auto or manual doesnt matter but if the origial had the anti theft feature it will need the rfi pill in the key to work. Look up "skim key issues".

good to see u r out and about

the group runs trail rides at rausch creek offroad and aoaa in PA. They split the group so usually there is a green group for the less experienced. The facebook site gets more traffic if u want to check in there. There is no where local in DE to offroad.

it was fun. Weather was nice and the fireworks were great. We sill had room for a few more jeeps in the field.

Not really, andy cracked the stearing box mount on the cj and popped a ps line. Not really a surprise in a cj.
The weather was great and diner was decent. U should have come.
