Also, are you on a stock carb? Changing out to an aftermarket carb will improve your mpg better than new tires and give you more HP. I installed a Weber carb on my CJ and it was vastly improved.

Can someone briefly explain this to me? The linky does not work on my pc. I tried to read up on other sites, but they just have the same link. Seems like some of them aren't fans of this either.

Silver Mill?

Awesome, John! Thanks for posting. My CJ needs the same treatment coming up.

Wait, what? Me thinks you mean someone else.Jeez, my bad. It was Ruquick...no idea why I pinned that on you.
Pair of Dana 44's huh.Ding, Ding, Ding!

After Ruquick posted the Toughest Jeep in the World (runs on puppy blood), I thought, "Wouldn't it be interesting to post Jeep lies from the intrawebs and see who can spot the false claims first." Like a reverse photo contest. So I went and found one...in about 10 minutes. Can you spot the lie(s)?

Ouch. Give me a break, guys. I've been working a lot of hours and I haven't been sleeping well. I hope a rabid squirrel bites off your nose. -

Why is it not a single turd-clop from Delaware can type 4 coherent, non run-on sentences on Craigslist??? It's like reading an instruction manual poorly translated from Chinese.

I'm not a fan of simulated anything. Either do real beadlocks or don't do it at all. Not saying every single item on a Jeep has a function, but I like to think that's what sets us apart from every John Deere hat-wearin' douchecanoe with a giant F-350 sporting truck-nuts and $2000 worth of half-bald Nitto tires that only touch dirt when taking cousin Tiffany-Lynn on a date to the state fair.

As Beyonce' would say.... "..put a ring on it!"

The light blue is called Anvil. The only way to get it is the 10th anniv Rubi. My girlfriend has been going back and forth over her new JK color. She definitely did not want a rubicon as she sees no need for the extras. She couldn't decide between, gecko, orange, silver or blue and it changed every day. Today she walked in the bedroom and caught me looking at this bit of Jeep porn and says, "Oooohhhh!" After 5 minutes, she decides it's worth the rubi package to get Anvil and the red seats. So she tells me to call my friend at the dealership and order one...
...F#$%ING WIN!!!! -

I was not into the seats originally, but I think it's growing on me.

Wait, I don't see a Jeep. Is it being blocked by that 4WD station wagon? Try taking a better pic.
-
Hell why not? Typically only ultra-cool or really rich Americans die in some far off jungle...other than The 'Nam. I'd be up there with the Rockefellers or Amelia Earhart. Badass.

Is it momentary on? If so, then it won't be real convenient for lights...you'd have to hold it down the whole time.
What if you hooked it into a small master cylinder just for the front brakes so you can lock them and then power on to shift the rear over to clear obstacles underneath? -
Gives you an anchored foot rest , useful in off camber stuff.
It comforts men who buy the female (auto) Wrangler. -
Did the Jeep include a radio?
-
That's me taking the front door. Win.

Just a side note about Wal-Mart firearms. You can special order from their catalog in any store. I have been told that the models Wal-Mart gets are not as good as the gun shop models; that there are small differences that cheapen down the quality. This could be "anti-sprawl-Mart" rhetoric, but I have looked before in their catalog and noticed slight differences between their model numbers and the model numbers on the manufacturers website.
If you're looking at a semi-auto .22, Winchester Model 290 was chambered in short, long and long rifle. It would sometimes have trouble cycling a .22 short unless you kept it clean and lubed. But it is tube-fed, holds a nice amount of ammo in the mag and .22 long means you can fire CB rounds (sub-sonic...very quiet...great for neighborhood varmint control)
