I'd like to get a group together to do Blacks at Rausch Creek December 14 or 21. The Northeast property is closed December 14, but the Main property is open 10-5. Both sides are open 8-5 on the 21st. Sign up if you're in for either of those dates.

I'm out for the 23d, in for November 30.
I can do either one.
Cool, pretty small group. Should be able to cover some ground. I request trail 5, yellow jacket, and O. Maybe even a little bit walk in the park. It's been a long time since I have ran that area.
Sounds like a plan. See you there.
I'm in. Wayne's still in.
Rubicon Express is great on warranty! Also M.O.R.E (Mountain Off Road Enterprises) and East Coast Gear Supply have gone above and beyond for my CJ.
"Going" on Facebook and actually showing up are two different things. Let's hope it's just a fraction of that.
1. Slowpoke: blue/black
2. Stomper: Blue/Black (Tentative depends on work load)
3. Daddanelena: blue/black

Hope you can make it, Keith!
This is on the calendar for October 12 at Anthracite, but we just did Anthracite and the 12th is only two weeks away, so I'm opening it up for October 19 at Rausch Creek Off Road Park. This ride will be open to all levels, members and non-members. Go to rc4x4.org for information on trails, waivers, cost, etc. We will meet at 8:30 in the parking lot. Sign up now and indicate what level trails you want to do--hope to see you there!

Trail Report: Great ride indeed at Anthracite. We started with nine (!) Jeeps: @Stomper, @daddanelena; @Buster Stewart; @Down Hill Roller; @altierior; @willf650; @TheDarkSide; @GinoL19, and @Slowpoke. Beautiful day with temps in the low 80s and no rain, very dry trails with very light traffic. Things got off to a bad start for one Jeeper--as soon as Wayne backed his TJ off the trailer, John noticed something wrong with the front end. Wayne had a big crack in his driver-side steering knuckle. So back on the trailer and Wayne rode shotgun all day with Keith.
We hit the trails with eight Jeeps at 9:45, drove way out the access road and found our way to 39C, which has some challenging rocks and finishes with a long, steep climb, then took 41 to the bottom of Barney Rubble, went up Barney Rubble without a hitch, then continued up M (black). Gino took "No More Blue J" on its new 40" stickies up M Extension and back down just for fun, then we hopped over to Whiskey Ridge, did 55 and the Pit, then Upper Anthracite and Bee Line (long black trail). Gino got to play on some big rocks near the end of Bee Line, with John along for the ride and Andy spotting.
We still had some time left, so we crossed the access road and did Excalibur (35) (which I thought had some good rocks but doesn't). Then Andy took over and led us on BA (34), including the trail that starts on the concrete culvert--it was actually dry! Andy then led us on 9 around the northern edge of the property, took a little detour on a trail marked "Bear Cave" that has a small bear-sized cave right next to the trail, then wound around back to the trail head by a little after 5:00.
John has statistics from GeoTracker: we covered over ten miles of trails and were out for almost eight hours--with eight Jeeps! Some minor malfunctions, but no serious trail damage. Gino's big TJ was flawless and Will's YJ made it all look easy. Sorry no funny stories this trip--things just went too smoothly!
Our next official trail ride is scheduled for Saturday, October 12, also at Anthracite, subject to change. We may switch to Rausch Creek, since we had to switch the other way this month because of a huge event at Rausch that would have made for a mob scene. Hope to see you all on the trails next month!
Have you followed the post "No more blue j"? That's mine.
Yes! This should be a good shakedown run for you.
Im in! It's not completely done but it's done enough to have some fun with.
Come on up! We'll be at AOAA and we'll be doing blue and black trails. What are you wheeling?
I checked with Tim and it looks like everyone is up for Anthracite. See you at AOAA 9:00 a.m. on Saturday!
Andy- I hope you can join us!
Jay I tried to find out how many people attend this event. Do you know what the count was? I'm ok with going to AOAA if the rest of the group is ok with it other wise we can cancel.
Keith
273 drivers!
I see it's Women's Wheeling Day at RC and they are sold out. Will we be okay or should we switch to Anthracite?
It'll probably go all day.
I'm in!
