Took a look under the jeep today and the crank position sensor was just hanging there. Looks like it had worked its way loose. I bolted it back up, and she started right up!!! I need to replace the bolts. Any idea where I can get two new bolts?

I put more than a modest amount of started fluid in the intake manifold, and didn't even get a hiccup. That is leading me to believe that it is not a fuel issue. In the past, it would at least fire up before it quit. Ignition coil? Throttle position sensor?

Here are the symptoms. I was driving her home. I have a 2.5 with 4.88 on 35 inch tires. We were on a big hill so I dropped her from 4th to 3rd gear. She was screaming at about 3100 rpms, then all of the sudden she dropped down to about 2700-2800 rpms, then climbed back to 3000 again. I had just finished running, so I chalked it off as my legs being tired, and numb. I figured I slipped off the gas pedal. Then a mile or two later it happened again. I got home fine, and parked in the drive way. 30 mins later I come back to start her, and she just cranks. Thoughts?

Update.....Finally had some time to look at the jeep today. I put some starter fluid in the the manifold, and she still won't turn over. I seem to have good fuel pressure. Now I am thinking it may be part of the ignition system? It is cranking, but won't turn over. Any ideas?

Should I just cut an access hole into the tub or drop the tank? Seems like this could become a common repair for me, and I am not a fan of dropping the tank.

So my fuel pump has kicked again in less than a year. I am considering putting an inline pump in. Can I just leave the stock unit in the tank and run the in line pump between the tank and the fuel filter? She is a 1991 YJ 2.5 fuel injected.

I have leafs off my 91 YJ.

I did my lift piece by piece. It adds up over time. Aaron gave the most accurate description of what would be needed, and what the cost would be (when I was where you are). I have found that most products are priced what they are for a reason. Take that into account when you make your decisions. On the other hand, make sure you are not paying for something you don't want/need.

I will measure when I get home.

I have some shackles that are not boomerang. They are about 2 inches longer than stock. Let me know.

PM is not working for me.

Sounds like you are in a tough spot. I have certainly been there. I have a soft top for my YJ. The frame is in Working condition, the top is close to new. You are welcome to use it until a better solution comes around. It might take some work, but we should be able to make it fit. It is a bestop. Let me know. I am in Pike Creek. Good luck.

Any one have a trail cover they don't need? I am looking to purchase one. Doesn't have to be perfect. Thanks.

Finally done with painting (thanks Jump150). Have to put a few more things back on and it should be good to go. I think this color (Gecko Green) is a little greener than the previous color ('70s Challenger green; sublime green).
It actually looks yellower here than it really is. I changed the color of the roll bar to black because I didn't want to take everything out to have it sprayed with the body.

I am assuming you have checked Craigslist. If you haven't, they are all over the place. Aaron has done lots of work on my jeep, and he is awesome. Definitely message him astape.

Yeah. That's who I am planning on going with. My understanding is that you receive the cage in pieces, and it has to be welded together. Did they install your cage as well?
