Factory sub...

  • ...in the insta-trunk type enclosure, sucks. Vibrates, takes up too much room, etc.

So...I took it apart. I removed the subwoofer and sprayed it with rubber undercoating. I stuffed the enclosure with foam pieces left over from some old camera bags, and crazy-glued and siliconed the magnet to the metal basket. I waited an hour and reassembled it.

    Sounds FREAKIN' GREAT!!!!

(I'm sure it won't last, but heck...I was about to trash it anyway.)

  • Pillow stuffing works great too.

You can get a big bag at Walmart for a couple bucks.
