We apologize for a mass email response; however we are inundated with emails regarding the current status of the park. We hope the following will help to clarify any rumors and address your concerns:
The story so far:
We are currently involved in an ongoing legal battle with Gladstone Partners, L.P. regarding our lease with PCA Corp. According to a press conference held on January 31, 2006, Gladstone is interested in purchasing the property for the purpose of building a cargo airport and supplemental businesses. Early decisions in the case were in favor of Gladstone Partners, all of which we have appealed. We closed at the end of business on Sunday, Feb 4, 2007 and were court ordered to remain off the property. Later in the week Paragon won an appeal that allowed us access to the property and the judge also granted possession of the property to the park for the duration of the appeals process.
Current situation:
The park is currently open on Saturdays and Sundays from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and will remain open for next few months. At this time we are operating on a cash only basis and registration will temporarily include having to fill out another paper waiver. Please bring your key tag with you when you visit. We are currently looking into other properties on which to reopen should we be unsuccessful in our future appeals and be forced to leave our current location. Please keep your key tag, as it will be accepted at any new Paragon location.
Message to guests:
Please keep in mind that leaving the property or closing were not our choice and came about very quickly. We have done our best to keep the forum on the website up to date as new information is available. Due to the fact that the legal battle is ongoing, we will sometimes be unable to release all of the details. We appreciate all of the support and heartfelt warm wishes we have received.
To Annual Members, Charter Club Members and Gift Certificate/Gift Card Holders:
We understand your concern regarding any investment you have made by purchasing a membership or gift certificate/gift cards. We assure you they will continue to be honored and will carry over to any new locations. All expiration dates will be extended appropriately in the event that we are closed for any period of time.

It also offers news and political contacts where thoughtful, intelligent letters can be sent. We encourage anyone who sends a letter to be respectful. Donations to Kyle and Stephanie Knosp to help cover legal fees can be made by check sent to the park (made out to Kyle and Stephanie Knosp), in person at the park or on the Paypal account available at saveparagon@paragonap.com.
