If you are on a DeJA sanctioned trail ride you are required to have with you:
o Front and rear tow points (not including trailer balls)
o Fire extinguisher in working order
o First aid kit
o Full size spare; adequate tread on tires
o Seat belts for every passenger
o No snow plows or brackets
o No obvious hazards or problems
o Battery tie down
o Trash bags (to use for trash or liquid spills)
The following equipment is not mandatory, but highly recommended for trail rides:
o CB radio, either hard mounted or handheld
o Tow strap; 20,000 lb minimum rating; no hooks (MUST have at least one in each designated group on a trail ride; per park requirements).
This information is on the Driver Agreement that members sign when they join.
Plus if you are driving on the beach, you also must have a shovel and a block of wood
does this mean for pine barrens that the random, well not random, but the locals meeting us there require this as well? even if they are not part of DEJA or any of that?
