How much metal can you trim off of a 97 XJ's fenders wand still have it look decent? How about the cut away flares? How much can you trim with them? I am currently on 6" lift and running 32's, and I am just looking at other possibilities...

if you cover it up with flares, you can go pretty far, just make sure you cut notches at the pinch seam in the rear and fold them over. use tape to put the flares on to mock up where you want them... then mark and cut.
