Cheap Exhaust

  • As many know, my original exhaust was modified by some large rocks at paragon. in the process of the build up i took most of it off.

today i decided i needed a cheap exhaust, so i bought a turbo II muffler for $17 from auto zone, a $5.00 flexible pipe, one hander and a clamp.

now the jeep is about 70% quieter than it was with an open manifold, and it took all of 20 minutes to hack it on.

  • I use those cheapy mufflers too. But I don't think the flex pipe is inspection legal.

  • By the time you hook up the cat, muffler, and over the axle pipe all you need is a short straight length to make up the difference to the header. It's pretty much a straight shot back.

  • cat?, pipe? whats that???

after i swap in a diffrent motor i will take it to bear muffler for a proper exhaust system that will pass inspection. What i have should be good enough for now.
