    looks nice let me know...

already have a sye and woodie... and of course my new 33's

  • Why avoid a 1" BL?

Anyways, opinions vary but with the Clayton skids I have yet to hit them on anything at RC running blues & blacks. Of course that is with 35's but I like the size/strength of the crossmember and the thickness of the actual skidplates. And it does not require a BL if you do not have a Rubi. Do whatever ya want aftermarket wise though because almost anything is an improvement over the strength and clearance of the stock shovel...

  • HE has a YJ so he cannot get a clayton skid... most flat skids by nature require a 1" body lift.. I believe that the nth degree skid is the only one that does not require it and then again they do not make a YJ belly skid.... 33 engineering and Tera-flex are the only 2 that I can think of off the top of my head that make YJ belly skids..... but then again I am not a bastion of YJ knowledge

  • my buddy has a tublar skid made by 4wd... its for cj's and yj' its nice... modular like the 33 engereering plate but it dosent tuck and just has a plate that bolts on and creats a box front... to get hung up on.... i just dont think a bl is necessary right now... i have 33's that look good but i could fits 35's but if i put a bl on it i feel it will be to tall for the tires...
