Trans Fluid ??

    I have some Lucas Transmission Fix to add to the YJ and they forgot to do it when I had it in for a service and topped off the fluids. Can I over fill and cause problems if I add it without taking a little fluid out? It is a quart bottle. Thanks.

    Do the instructions say to add to a full trasmission or to use it like an additive? if it's an additive then it's fine to use with a full transmission, but over filling an already full transmission is not good for the transmission since it uses the fluid to shift. So i would say bleed about a quart out before adding a quart in.
