Something Everyone NEEDS in All Their Vehicles

Here is something that EVERYONE needs! A sturdy and quick release fire extinguisher bracket. This is the single most important item put out by DOR today and highly encourage everyone to purchase one. Our very first unit was raffled out at the NJJA's Crawl for the Cure last month and we now have them ready to go for everyone else!

This bracket works with almost all hand held fire extinguishers and offers an extreme sturdy bracket. Most extinguishers comes with a small plastic mount that is meant to be mounted on a stationary wall, not thrown around in an off road rig. If you happen to roll over, flop, bounce on a trail, or get into a car accident your fire extinguisher then becomes a projectile that could seriously injure or kill you along with passengers. The DOR quick release bracket is extremely sturdy to hold up to the toughest abuse you can throw at it. This mount uses to hose clamps to attach the extinguisher to the bracket. The bracket is made to attach to your rig via bolting (3/8" bolt holes on each end), hose clamps, or welding directly to the vehicle.
If you need to grab your extinguisher, you pull one quick release pin and the extinguisher releases from the bracket with our hinge system.

Note, the extinguisher used in these pictures is zip-tied for display purposes only. DOR strongly suggest using hose clamps to mount the extinguisher to the bracket.







DOR is offering the kit in three different variations.
1. DIY brackets. This kit will include the metal bracket kit only without any hardware. You must weld the bracket yourself. $28
2. DIY brackets with hardware. This kit include the metal bracket kit along with the bolt and pin hardware. You must weld and bolt the kit together. Hose clamps not included due to the various extinguisher sizes. $30
3. Pre-welded kit. This kit will include a fully welded kit ready to paint and install. Hose clamps not included due to the various extinguisher sizes. $40

Pretty much the same idea with some extra features. The mount you linked has a straight backing plate on both sides of the mount. We notch both the fire extinguisher and the mount side to help keep the clamps tight with less change of anything sliding around while installed. We do not paint our mounts because some customer may wish to weld the mount directly on the cage as well as it leaves the color options up to you but painted option may be in the future. We know a lot of guys in this sport would like to get into the fabrication side of things so we offer the un-welded kits as a great entry level welding project!
