yj brake light sawitch

So i have an 89 yj and having problem with brake light s only come on when pedal is half way to the floor so they dont come on at all when driving i put a new new switch in it a couple of months ago and it was alittle better but nw they dont come on is there any way to adjust the switch at all let me know thanks

The switch can be adjusted. With the peddle up, slide the switch back until the brake lights come on, then nudge it back in a little bit until they go back off.
