    DNREC Enforcement seeks information on meth lab materials found in Sussex wildlife area


    BETHEL (Feb. 3, 2011) – DNREC Division of Fish and Wildlife Enforcement agents and DNREC Emergency Response Team officers on Jan. 29 responded to a report of suspicious materials found at the Nanticoke Wildlife Area south of Seaford near Bethel.


    A Laurel police officer initially identified the materials as part of an illegal methamphetamine lab. Fish and Wildlife Enforcement agents secured the area while officers from the Emergency Response Team collected hazardous materials and evidence.


    An investigation is continuing, and citizens are encouraged to report any information they might have by calling 302-739-4580.
