Welcome to the Jeep family and welcome to the forum! Since there is nothing legal in DE for off-roading, our club goes regularly to an offroad park in PA called Rausch Creek. In fact, we're going there next weekend for a friendly club-vs-club competition on Saturday and Sunday for trail riding. A little info about that here: http://www.delawareja.com/forum/index.php?topic=34866.0
Look around the Trail Runs & Gatherings board for info about upcoming and past events, along with a list of other offroad/camping spots we go to occasionally. http://www.delawareja.com/forum/index.php?board=6.0

Dont forget that beach season is knocking at the door. The club maintains the cleanliness of a stretch of beach just north of the Indian River Inlet and many club members can also be found congregating on Herring Point at CHSP. Both are great places to drive out, toss out a line, and relax with fellow Jeepers.

Where and what is CHSP? I've got surf rods and tackle dying to come out of the moth balls!

DE out of state surf tag is double the in-state price ($65), so $130.
CHSP is Cape Henlopen State Park, the entrance is just past the Cape May-Lewes Ferry.
