Gas cylinder wanted

  • Your best bet is go buy the tank from the welding place you plan on getting your tanks filled. The problem with buying someones old tank is alot of the time they are out of date and no one will fill them unless they get recertified. Also some places only fill tanks with their name on it.
They also offer a tank lease, which is the way to go if you use alot of gas and have a bunch tanks.
I bought a tank from G&E Welding last year was right around $200 filled.

  • I've thought about just going to keens but I figured why not try and find a used one for a little cheaper and just get it re certified if i have to. Worse comes to worse i'm gonna just buy one when my machine arrives.

  • with my CO2 tank, the cert fee wasnt worth the hassle, however if you find a old tank, you can usually trade it in on their exchange program and not have to pay the re-cert fee now i am swap and carry, but i don't have a pretty blue tank anymore.......
